Les Arcs 2000 is situated on the other side of the mountain to Les Arcs 1600 and 1800, secluded in its own bowl at the base of Aiguille Rouge. Within the Les Arcs ski area, there are over 100 downhill runs and 200 kilometers of terrain. It forms part of the extensive Paradiski area.

Les Arcs 2000 is a resort better suited to the more confident skiiers, with a wide choice of advanced runs and off piste terrain. This is perhaps one of the reasons it is home to the Speed Skiing World Championships every year- plenty of steep downhill runs!

Arcs 2000 does not have a lot to offer in terms of nightlife and restaurant choice. Its main focus is the skiing- so if you're looking for a livlier resort, try Arcs 1800.
