La Rosiere is located in the south east of France and boasts stunning views across Les Arcs. The resort is friendly and charming and is great for families, and the link with La Thuile (in Italy) allows parents and more advanced skiers to explore a bit further. The village is attractive and retains its tradition.

The beginners slopes in La Rosiere are great and have short lifts near the village (three of which are free to use). The ESF (Ecole Du Ski Francais) is exceptionally good in La Rosiere. Intermediates can enjoy wide red slopes and if they want to push themselves can adventure into Italy and La Thuile (an extra lift pass will be payable). For experts there are some decent black runs as well as some ungroomed, avalanche conrtolled freeride zones.

There is little nightlife in La Rosiere, as well as limited shops, but that all adds to the charm of it, and the locals are all very friendly. The restaurants are excellent and get great reviews.
