Les Arcs is part of the Paradiski area and has a reputation for being one of the original “mega-resorts”. The ski area is a mixture of open and then wooded runs, with something for everyone. It is also a good resort for snowboarders as the drag lifts are limited. You can easily reach La Plagne from Les Arcs via the impressive Vanoise Exprees Cable car.

Arc 2000 is one of the many villages that make up Les Arcs. It is slightly separated from the other villages, but still provides great access to the Paradiski area and all that les Arcs has to offer.  Arc 2000 attracts more intermediate and advanced skiers as it has great proximity to the Aiguille Rouge glacier (one of Europe’s longest slopes) and fantastic doorstep skiing. Arcs 1600 and 1800 are closer together and well located for tree runs and overlook Bourg-St-Maurice. They are less attractive than Arc 2000, but Arc 1800 is the largest of the three.
