Resort Description

The ski resort of Zermatt is located in the Swiss Alps at the foot of Switzerlands highest peaks. It is most famous for its spectacular scenery which include the famous Matterhorn. You can enjoy panoramic views at the top of the many funiculars, gondolas and cable cars.

Zermatt is skiing heaven, with high altitude slopes (meaning snow-sure skiing all season) and terrain to suite everyone. You can get to Cervinia in Italy with ease and the matterhorn glacier is a major focal point to Zermatt.

The car-free village of this charming Swiss ski resort make it an ideal place for family ski holidays. The resort itself has plenty to offer, all within easy walking distance.

The nightlife is great in Zermatt, and there is something to suit everyone with a mix of informal and sophisticated fun.
